A community of women making the city and the sea a great place to be.

We’re are a women's surf club in Bristol, England made up of friendly city surfers who share a love of the sea. Everyone is welcome at Bristol Girls Surf Club, whether you're an absolute beginner or a seasoned pro. Bristol Girls Surf Club is an inclusive space. We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly club for all women and non-binary people in Bristol.

What We Do + Past Events

We offer a free online commmunity so that people can connect with one another, and have a paid Sisterhood subscription for those looking to regularly join our events, socials and trips! Learn more about joining the Sisterhood community below.

Join the Sisterhood

Making friends as an adult can be tough so we wanted to create a community where people could meet other like-minded women in their area, build connections and have fun. On our summer surfing day trip, 100% of our survey respondents said they made a new friend that day!

Founded in 2020 by Matilda, BGSC has gone from strength to strength and, after 1.5 years of being managed by a committee of 11 volunteers, has now become a registered Community Interest Company (CIC)! Head to our Board of Directors page to see who we are!
